About the Position

We are now looking for an experienced measurement technician with expert competence in reading and interpreting drawings. In this role, you will work closely with production, quality functions, and design, with a clear responsibility for driving measurement-related issues throughout the manufacturing process.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Drive measurement-related issues during request for quotation (RFQ) and order reviews
Provide support in reading drawings during manufacturing
Train staff in drawing theory as well as form and positional tolerances
Further educate inspectors in the use of measurement machines and arms
Offline programming of measurement machines and arms
Participate in the development of measurement protocols
Perform measurements with measurement arms and machines
Calibration of measuring instruments
Actively participate in continuous improvements
Contribute to efficient resource utilization of energy and raw materials
You have the authority to stop production or delivery in case of quality deviations.

Location: Motala
Extent: Full-time
Working hours: Daytime, Monday – Friday
Start date: By agreement – preferably as soon as possible!

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with expert competence in reading and interpreting drawings, and who is comfortable working with advanced measuring equipment such as measurement machines and arms. You have experience programming measuring equipment offline and are accustomed to working with high precision in technically demanding environments.

You are communicative, pedagogical, and have an easy time explaining technical contexts to others. Of course, you master Swedish in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in training or mentoring colleagues, as well as if you have worked in heavy or advanced industry.
